Spring. Budapest Fotó Fesztivál. Still to be explored. For the first time I realised the Leica Boutique Budapest. First visit. Interesting and nice conversation with Gábor. Prompt invitation to the test and photo walk on Saturday.
About fifteen enthusiasts meet at 10 am. Fabian from Leica Vienna has arranged a suitcase full of bodies and lenses. Everyone finds what they want. I rediscovered my Noctilux 1.0 from 1981 a few days ago after years of standing on the shelf. This lens with all its behaviour and roughness reflects my passion. So I am happy to catch the Noctilux 1.2 for the walk.
It was a really nice experience. The result. I will never change my 1.0 to the 1.2. There are a lot of reasons. The handling. The focus. The bokeh. The charm. All the more a great opportunity, a super test and foto walk.
Beyond that I tested the 0.95 for some time. I also like it. But it is a part of perfection. Like the other new lenses.
